BONES & BEANS BBQ

The Coachman boys – Rodney, Chester, Victor and Reggie - and the women who love them - started with a very nice recipe for themselves and their family. The intent wasn’t to come up with an amazing sauce, but Rodney added one thing and Victor another. Not to be outdone Chester went home and concocted his own twist on it. Day after day, challenge after challenge the four added, took away and simmered. Then one day they sampled their liquid artwork, stepped back from the stovetop and looked at each other. It’s not certain who said it but someone exclaimed in their southern drawl, “That’s Jus Good Eatin.”

 

Since then this close-knit group of sauce-masters has been perfecting tasty, sticky creations that put a smile on your sauce covered lips. Every recipe is an exploration of how far flavor can tantalize and satisfy and has been tested on more smokers and in simmering pots of beans than can be counted.

 

The old saying, “Too many cooks in the kitchen” may be true for others, but for us we have the exact right number.
